Cruises on the Crown
Princess is the crown jewel of the Princess Cruises fleet. Its
unique Crown Plaza is an atrium designed in the spirit of an
Italian piazza where you can get a bite to eat or just relax
and people-watch. Other highlights of this brand new ship
include the Crown Grill, modeled after a classic steakhouse,
the Sanctuary deck area, reserved just for adults, and
Movies Under the StarsSM, our poolside movie theater.

Princess Cruises ships offer the line's
innovative Personal Choice Cruising program, an
individualized, unstructured style of cruising that
provides a "what you want, when you want"
atmosphere of onboard choice and flexibility designed
to give passengers the opportunity to customize their
cruise vacation to meet their personal interests,
needs and desires. Princess Cruises introduced the concept of
putting the passengers in control of their own cruise
experience in the mid-1990s when it introduced the
revolutionary Sun-class ships. This emphasis on choice
-- of multiple dining locations, flexible
entertainment and affordable private balconies -- has
since established customized cruising as the
touchstone of new ship design for the entire industry.
Princess has also distinguished itself by sailing to
more worldwide cruise destinations than any other
major line. Offering more than 150 itineraries ranging
from seven to 72 days, Princess Cruises sails to six
continents and calls at nearly 260 ports around the
world. Destinations include the Caribbean, Alaska,
Panama Canal, Europe, Mexican Riviera, South America,
South Pacific, Hawaii/Tahiti, Asia, Canada/New
England, Bermuda and world voyages.
Today, the line's
signature emphasis on Personal Choice Cruising is
apparent across the fleet of Princess cruises, with each vessel offering
its own unique version on a host of multiple dining
options and locations; flexible and varied
entertainment selections; renowned customer service;
and a full complement of onboard activities including
a variety of ScholarShip @Sea enrichment classes
featuring computer training, ceramics, culinary arts,
finance and photography. Often copied but never
duplicated, the Princess concept of cruise vacation
customization has since been adopted as the touchstone
of new ship design for the entire cruise industry.
